Thuong Thuong Handmade Social Enterprise offers vocational training and creates jobs for people living with disabilities and incurable illness. We were founded by Ms Nguyen Thuong in 2013. Her passion for handicrafts was inspired by watching her mother produce beautiful knitted and embroidered pieces during her village childhood. The establishment of Thuong Thuong Handmade fulfilled her dream of opening a business to provide jobs for people who, like herself, face lifelong health challenges.
Our employees come from all over Vietnam including rural areas. We provide them with the skills to earn a living through creating and selling high quality handicrafts. We aim to instil confidence and independence within our employees and improve their standard of living. We strive to create opportunities to help our employees better integrate into the wider community.
Our speciality is paper quilling, which we use to produce beautifully designed products such as Vietnamese landscape pictures, tissue boxes and pen boxes, earrings, jewellery boxes, greeting cards and bookmarks.
